Katherine Scott

Director of Youth Philanthropy, Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation

Katherine Scott is the director of youth philanthropy at the Frieda C. Fox Family Foundation, where she leads Youth Philanthropy Connect (YPC). YPC is an incubated program of the Foundation that connects youth philanthropists (ages 8-21) and the adults who support them — from nearly 900 programs across the world — to one another, resources, and learning opportunities. Scott came to the Foundation from The Boston Foundation, where she managed an online platform for donors profiling best practices of nonprofits and building the capacity of nonprofit leaders. Previously, she worked at other foundations in organizational effectiveness, nonprofit leadership training, and donor services. She holds a B.A. from Wittenberg University and an M.A. & MPA from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy SPEA at Indiana University, and she now serves on the Lilly Family School Alumni Board.
