CEO, Community Wealth Partners
Amy Celep serves as the CEO of Community Wealth Partners, a Share Our Strength organization that partners with foundations and nonprofits to tackle social problems at the magnitude they exist. Amy was named to this role in April 2010, and since then has led the growth of the organization to become a leader in inspiring individuals, organizations and communities to set bold goals, translate goals into action and outcomes, learn from the results, and share that learning widely to accelerate change.
Amy served in various consulting and management roles with Community Wealth Partners for eight years before moving into her current position. Prior to joining the organization, she held marketing and development positions in the nonprofit sector and was a producer for a CBS affiliate’s award-winning evening news. Amy is a frequent writer and presenter on the topics of strategy, scale, sustainability, leadership development, culture and collaboration. Most recently she co-authored an article in The Foundation Review entitled “Internal Culture, External Impact: How a Change-Making Culture Positions Foundations to Achieve Transformational Change.” She has also curated and co-authored a series of other influential pieces, including a Stanford Social Innovation Review (SSIR) blog series, “The Value of Intentional Influence,” which explores influence as an approach to scale, as well as the SSIR feature article, “When Good Is Not Good Enough,” which chronicles the journey of two organizations seeking to solve social problems at scale.
Amy received her MBA from Georgetown University and her BS from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
